Pure Lavenden oil- (French) If,  sensitive to oils, do a patch test firstby applying to skin in a small area, like forearm.  If sensitive add a carrier oil to the oil, such as, olive oil than apply to skin, or put a couple drops in your difuser.  (12 drops of oil to olive oil to equal 10ml.)
 Lavandula x intermedia.- aroma is a mild to strong Lavender that has been used for anxiety and  for calmness to help insomnia.   It can be used anytime.   This is favorite.
